Robert Amchin is distinguished teaching professor of the music education and concentration coordinator for music educationat the University of Louisville. He teaches undergraduate and graduate classes and supervises student teachers at U of L. Amchin studied at the Orff Institute, N.E. Conservatory, Memphis State, and the University of Michigan. He also taught at the elementary school level in Spring, Texas. Dr. Amchin composes and arranges music for recorder and general music classes. A sought-after clinician, he has presented at many AOSA conferences and workshops around the world. His many presentations have taken him to lead sessions in the US, Russia,Georgia, Poland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Austria, China, Canada, and Israel.
